Add a passkey after signing in
Use the Faster, safer login prompt to add a passkey on a trusted device.
After you sign in, Getme may show a Faster, safer login prompt under Account security. The prompt lets you add a passkey on the current device so future sign-ins can use Face ID, fingerprint, or the device screen lock where supported.
Add a passkey
- Sign in to Getme on a trusted device.
- When the Faster, safer login prompt appears, review the Account security message.
- Choose Add passkey.
- Follow the browser or device prompt to confirm Face ID, fingerprint, screen lock, or another supported verification method.
Skip the prompt
Choose Not now if you do not want to add a passkey on the current device. You can continue using the account sign-in methods already configured for your account, such as email and password or Google sign-in.
Use passkeys only on trusted devices
A passkey is tied to device or platform security. Add it only on a device you control and protect with a secure screen lock. Avoid adding passkeys on shared, public, or borrowed devices.
If you lose access to the device that holds a passkey, use another configured sign-in method or account recovery. Do not share device unlock prompts, passkey approval screens, passwords, or recovery links with anyone.
