Change your Getme account email address
Review email-change steps, verification checks, and what to do if the old inbox is no longer available.
Your account email can affect sign-in, password reset, security notices, billing notices, and workspace ownership review. Treat email changes as a security-sensitive account action, especially when you no longer have access to the current inbox.
Before changing the account email
- Confirm you are signed in to the correct Getme account and workspace.
- Check whether you can access the current account email inbox.
- Make sure the new email address is spelled correctly and can receive messages.
- Review whether two-factor authentication, owner access, or billing-admin access may affect the change.
Where to review or change the email
Open the account, profile, or security settings where supported. If email changes are available for your account, follow the prompts shown there. Depending on account security settings, Getme may ask you to verify the old email, the new email, your password, two-factor authentication, or ownership context.
Check both inboxes
If Getme sends a confirmation message, check both the current email inbox and the new email inbox. Email delivery timing can vary by mail provider, spam filtering, and account security review, so avoid repeating the change too quickly if a message is still pending.
If you cannot access the old email
If you cannot receive email at the current account address, contact support instead of trying to bypass verification. Support may need to review account ownership, workspace role, recent billing records, security settings, or other account context before an email change can be considered.
