Update business details

Use Settings > General when you need to review or update the business identity and default formatting used across the workspace. The page is split into Business details, Company contact details, and Company defaults.

Open General settings

1. Open Settings.
2. Choose General from the settings sidebar.
3. Open Business details, Company contact details, Company address, or Company defaults depending on what you need to change.

Update business details

Business details is used for payments, markets, and apps. It can include business country or region, business type such as Private Corporation, Legal Business Name, Trade Name, Industry, legal first and last name, address, apartment or suite, city, province or state, postal code, and phone number.

Update company contact details

Company contact details stores the company name, company email, company communication information, and company phone. If the company name field says to change the company name in Business details, update the legal or trade name from Business details instead of the contact card.

Edit the company address

Company address can be visible to customers. Use Edit company address to update country or region, street address, apartment or suite, city, province, and postal code. If the form says Change country in Business details, update the country from Business details before editing the address here.

Set company defaults

Company defaults controls formats, units, and reports. Use it to review Currency display, Unit system, Default weight unit, Time zone, Date format, and Number format. To manage currencies customers see, use Markets instead of the Currency display field on this page.
