Set product variants in Getme Commerce
Create option types and values, then review variant-level details before publishing.
Variants let one product offer choices such as size, color, material, or another option type. The product form keeps option definitions in the Variants section, while per-variant pricing, inventory, shipping, and customs details are reviewed on the variants page.
Add an option type
- Open the product and find the Variants section.
- Choose Add another option type.
- Enter an option name such as Size, Color, or Material.
- Add option values such as Small, Medium, Large, Black, Blue, or another value that matches the product.
- Use Done when the option looks right, or Delete if the option should be removed.
Review generated choices
Each option value becomes its own customer choice. When multiple option types are used, review the resulting variant choices carefully so the product has the combinations you intend to sell.
Review variant-level details
Open the variants page to review per-variant pricing, inventory, shipping, and customs details. Check SKU, available quantity, package or weight, origin, HS code, and any variant-specific fields that matter for fulfillment or checkout.
Before publishing changes
- Preview the product choices on the storefront where available.
- Check that option names and values are clear for customers.
- Review inventory for each variant that can be purchased.
- Check price and shipping details if variants differ from the base product.
- Save and spot-check the product after changes are applied.
