Reconciling payouts with your bank
Why deposits sometimes look off, and how Getme keeps the audit trail.
Why is the bank deposit smaller than the day’s sales?
Two reasons: (1) processing fees are deducted before payout — every sale row in the ledger shows fee and net side by side; (2) refunds, chargebacks, and held disputes are netted out of the next available payout.
How do I match a bank deposit to ledger rows?
Open Financial → Payouts and click any payout. The detail page lists every ledger event included in that payout — sales, refunds, fees, adjustments — summing to the bank deposit amount.
What if the deposit amount does not match any payout?
Check the date range — banks sometimes lag by 1–2 business days. If still unmatched after 5 business days, write to Billing support with the deposit amount, date, and last four digits of the receiving account.
Are payouts atomic?
Yes. A payout either lands in full or is reversed in full. Partial payouts do not happen. If the bank rejects a deposit (e.g. closed account), the funds return to your Getme balance and a banner appears on the Payouts page.
