Add a service
Create a service catalog item with pricing, billing, features, publishing, category, image, tags, and search listing details.
Use New Service when you need to sell or present a service in the Commerce catalog. A service can have customer-facing copy, pricing, billing settings, features, category placement, image, tags, SEO listing, and internal AI context.
Open the New Service form
From Commerce > Services, choose New Service. The form starts with Basic Information and a right-hand settings column for status, publishing, storefront actions, category, image, tags, AI context, and organization.
Fill Basic Information
Enter Service Name, and optionally enter Service Code (SKU). If the SKU is left empty, the system can auto-generate one. Add a Short Description and a rich Description for customer-facing service details, formatting, images, links, or tables where appropriate.
Set price and billing
In Price, enter the service price. Review Billing period, Compare at, Charge tax, and Tax category. Charge tax shows whether tax is enabled for the service, and Tax category can inherit the default unless a specific category is selected.
Add features
Use Features to add short feature labels that explain what the service includes. Mark as Popular / Featured when the service should be highlighted where that storefront surface supports it. If no features are added, the section can show No features added yet.
Review search listing
Search Engine Listing previews the service page title, description, and handle, such as /services/your-handle. Add a short description so the preview is useful before publishing.
